How to combat weariness
Are you feeling weary? Run down by all that you have on your plate? Let’s talk about how to combat weariness in today’s Points to Ponder.
Hello, I’m Jo Heather Dodson, Your Christian Coach, helping you discover what God has next for your life! Learn more about my coaching services by contacting me today.
Weariness comes from bearing too heavy a burden for too long of a time. It might be a burden of too much work to be done, a long-term sickness, or something else. If you are feeling alone in this, look to the Bible: In Nehemiah 4:10 it talks about the people of Judah complaining of tiredness. Job talks about his weariness during his nine-month journey of illness and misery and doubt. The Apostle Paul felt weary too, as he wrote in 2 Corinthians about his hunger and thirst and not having enough clothes. Maybe this is where you are today.
What can you do about weariness?
