Who can you trust?

I want to share a Psalm with you today. It’s Psalm 143:8: It says:

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,

for I have put my TRUST in you.

Show me the way I should go,

for to you I ENTRUST my life.

 

What does God say about trust? 

  • God’s Holy Word consistently tells me that I can trust God. He will lead me and deliver me and save me. Here are a few other verses to consider: Look at Psalm 13:5: It says that I can trust in God’s unfailing love. Psalm 32:10 says that the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in Him.
  • Deuteronomy 1 records how God, in fire by night and in a cloud by day, searched out places for the Israelites to camp and showed them the way they should go. If God did that for them, do you think He’ll do that for you? Do you believe He will show you the way you should go?
  • Trust is such a critical part of walking by faith and not by sight. So here’s the big question for you: Do you believe you can trust God? Can you trust Him with your with your home, with your finances, your kids, your heart?
